How it works
- Choose an AI route — Choose shared AI while signed in or a provider you've connected. The tool then asks for an outline, a draft, and a polish pass; each shared request uses the daily AI allowance.
- Enter the topic — Enter a topic, optional target keywords, and one of the available tone choices. There is no field for an audience, source document, or arbitrary brief.
- Generate the outline and draft — The tool generates an outline and immediately passes it into the drafting request. You cannot edit the outline between those calls.
- Polish the draft — The third request polishes the draft for wording and structure. Read it as a first draft that still needs human editing.
- Review and fact-check — Copy the final text and check its claims, quotes, product details, and any suggested meta description before publishing.

The Free plan has a monthly article limit, and paid Growth plans may raise it. One article makes three AI requests. With shared AI, those requests use your daily allowance; with your own key, the provider may bill your account. Check the current limits before starting.
Do I need my own API key, and where is usage billed?
No own key is required if you're signed in and the shared AI option has allowance available. You can instead connect a supported provider key. Own-key generation is billed under that provider's terms.
Will the articles be accurate and ready to publish?
No. Treat the output as a first draft. Check facts, quotes, product details, and code against current sources before publishing.
Why do my results vary so much?
Results depend on the topic, keywords, tone, and AI route you choose. The tool runs a fixed three-pass chain; it does not verify the facts in its output.
What does a multi-step prompt chain mean here?
It makes an outline request, passes that outline directly into a draft request, then polishes the draft. The current screen doesn't pause for outline approval.
Can I control the model and writing voice?
You choose one of the screen's tone options and an available AI route. The shared route's model is chosen by FilesHub, not by a model selector in ZTools.
Does it optimize the article for search and AI answer engines?
The tool asks for headings and a suggested meta description. It cannot guarantee rankings or AI citations. Add original reporting and verify every claim before publishing.
