What's new in ZTools: tours, a phone app view and plans

Useful tools. One workbench. This release brings the Workbench design to the web app, an app view on phones, guided tours, and plans you can buy.

Guided tours and a walkthrough​

  • On the home page, Speak, Meeting notes, Plans, the dashboard and account settings, the tour button shows a short tour of that page. The first time you visit one of these pages, a hint says: "Take a quick tour of this page".
  • How ZTools works: six short screens show what ZTools does. Start anywhere.

An app view on phones​

On a phone, home, the dashboard, account settings, sign-in and the first-run screens open as app screens, with a bottom bar for Home, Dashboard, Speak, Plans and Account. Web and Android · Many tools work without signing in.

Plans​

ZTools offers a free plan and paid plans. Each paid plan's price, billing period and allowances are shown on the Plans page before you pay. Payments are processed by Polar. ZTools never receives your card number.

Shared AI​

If Anthropic's shared credit is unavailable, ZTools sends the same request from its server to OpenAI instead, within the same allowance. If neither can answer, AI pauses.
